I was so giddy when Stacey announced she was trying her hand at writing a BDSM story. I've recently fallen in love with this theme in my romance and I couldn't wait to see what she'd do. For me, Stacey's books have always packed a powerful punch and given this is a short story, I was hoping that I would still get a taste, as well as the heat that comes the Dom/sub dynamics. Let me tell you - Stacey definitely knows how to deliver and my only disappointment was it just wasn't long enough. But... she could write an epic 1000 page novel and I'd still say it wasn't long enough. Forever Bound was a fun short story that had great chemistry between the two characters and left me sighing at the end! I had no problem picturing what was happening and it definitely got my blood pumping. Good gosh this was HOT!

Josie is looking to explore her sexuality and with an interest in kink, she contacts a matchmaker for a night of BDSM. Wanting to submit but not knowing the right Dom, Josie is blown away by her experience - not only is Gavin sex personified but he also sets up a scene that pushes her over the edge and shows her pleasure she's only dreamt about. Gavin comes to the meeting not expecting anything. He's a Dom with needs and unfortunately he hasn't been able to find the submissive for him. That all changes with one glance at Josie and after a night of fun, he's convinced - she's the one. The problem is a scene can form a bond between the Dom/sub so what will these two do if that happens? This is definitely a book to read if you're new to the BDSM theme and it's definitely hot enough to get you in the mood for some lovin' of your own.

I really loved the characters in this story. I always think it must be hard for the author because when you're limited to the size of the story, you can only show so much and still need to connect the reader with your characters. What do you share? I loved seeing the uncertainty of Josie at first but also her determination to explore - something was missing sexually and she had courage enough to go out there and look for it. I love that she gave herself over to Gavin, that she trusted him enough to learn from the BDSM scene, truly showing her submissive nature. I loved Gavin in this story, the way he was amazed by Josie and the complete swagger he had. Stacey really got it right with him because he had the complete Dom attitude and I swooned so hard at the end when he asked if he could "keep" her. I'd love to see more of these characters, to know what happened afterwards - there was definitely a connection between them and it would be interesting reading how Gavin continued to introduce her to the lifestyle and the deepening of their relationship.

I give two thumbs up for Stacey and wonder... what's next? This is a great quick read and one you won't want to miss. Happy reading!
